About the project

A framework built to make product design move faster. UI Astra is a design system and UI framework created for designers and developers who need to move from an idea to a solid product interface faster. It provides a structured foundation of components, styles and patterns that reduces the time spent wireframing while giving teams a consistent visual starting point for their projects.

The project started from a simple problem: too much time was being spent rebuilding the same foundations before getting to the actual product. UI Astra was created to eliminate that friction — giving teams a ready-to-use system that combines a defined visual language with reusable components and a foundation that can evolve with the product.

We designed and built the entire system from the ground up, including its visual identity, logo and design system. The result is a flexible framework that gives designers and developers a strong starting point, significantly reducing the time needed to wireframe and establish a cohesive product interface.

The challenge

Building a system that could scale beyond a single product

The challenge was to create a flexible framework that could serve different types of digital products while maintaining a consistent visual language.

UI Astra needed to work for both designers and developers, making the transition from design to implementation more efficient while providing enough flexibility for different products, interfaces, and use cases.

From the brand identity and visual foundations to icons, 3D assets, and more than 50 modular components, every part was designed to work together as a scalable system.

The problem

Too much time was being spent rebuilding the basics

Every new digital product requires the same foundations: buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, typography, icons, layouts, and interaction states.

Without a structured system, these elements are repeatedly designed and developed from scratch, creating unnecessary work and inconsistencies between products.

UI Astra was created to turn those repeated decisions into a reusable foundation.

Our approach

Designing the system before designing the interfaces

We approached UI Astra as a complete product ecosystem.

We established its visual identity and design foundations first, then built a modular component library around them. From there, we expanded the system with a large icon collection, custom 3D assets, patterns, and development-ready foundations.

Every element was designed to feel like part of the same language while remaining flexible enough to be reused across different products.
